So I moved from Safari to Flock.

Why?

I love the social network features on it, PLUS it runs the Firefox 3 engine, which I like A LOT better than Safari.

When I moved, there were only two downsides:

1. No smooth scrolling (I use Smart Scroll, an application that turns scrolling in OS X into the scrolling in the iPhone, more on that later)

2. I couldn’t view PDFs within the browser, I had to download the .pdf file and then view it in Preview.

Well, Flock (Firefox 3) has a smooth scrolling option in it’s preference panel, but it’s too….lethargic. Let’s just say that it’s better to not use it.

And I just read on TUAW that there is a new plug-in out that enables you to view PDFs within Flock (Firefox 3)!!!

I can say it works like it should, you can find the link to it on the bottom of this post.

Cheers!
